About the Montrose Community Band
Montrose has a rich history of municipal bands, dating back nearly 100 years. The Montrose Community Band was organized in 2002. From the initial group of about 12, the band has grown to over 50 members as more and more musicians bring forth their melodies in the valleys and hills.
The Montrose Community Band features a wide range of musicians from High School students to accomplished artists. They work hard, have fun, and love to play.
The Montrose Community Band is under the enthusiastic direction of Mr. Toby King.

We have some new Christmas songs for you this year, "Christmas on Main Street" and "Christmas Lights", some fun renditions of well know tunes, as well old favorites that remind us of Christmas past. Take an afternoon break and allow the Montrose Community Band to be a part of your holiday tradtions.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison
The Montrose Community Band performed Black Canyon of the Gunnison this past spring and displayed a slide show during the performance. The slides were submitted by members and their families.
